While industrial resource developments continue to put at risk our natural and cultural significance, our great national parks, and our food and water, people across Australia are standing their ground for nature.
From Australia’s iconic landscapes in the Kimberley – Western Australia, to the Pilliga woodland of New South Wales, and the towering rainforests of Tasmania and Victoria, people like Albert Wiggan, Anne Kennedy, Bob Davey, Hedley Hoskinson and Maddy Dee are working with their communities to minimize the impacts of climate change on these places by keeping oil, coal and gas in the ground.
These everyday Australians take extraordinary steps toward inspiring us all to act from the heart so that our children and grandchildren can enjoy the Australia we were lucky enough to grow up with.
