Oakley Anderson-Moore

Oakley Anderson-Moore is the co-founder of Superyard Farms, an urban agriculture incubator dedicated to repurposing unused land for aspiring farmers to grow healthy, local food with an emphasis on culturally important crops for Indigenous and immigrant communities of Northern Arizona. Superyard Farms grows and saves seeds from crops adapted to our dry climate, and distributes them in “Seeds: A Drought Tolerant Coloring Book.”

She is also an award-winning filmmaker whose work has screened on Public Television, AppleTV, Amazon Prime and at film festivals across the world. She has been a resident filmmaker for Sony Cinema and Nofilmschool, and as a film writer, has interviewed luminaries such as Robert Duvall, Sterlin Harjo, and Nick Offerman. Dedicated to film in the Southwest, she recently created a large scale video installation and hybrid theatrical-cinema experience for the LED Universe Theater in Flagstaff’s new Astronomy Discovery Center.
