Raising children is hard enough--doing in the face of environmental devastation makes it all the harder. Still, there are tiny things to be done to undo or prevent that devastation. From growing grapes in surprising climates to finding out how microorganisms can reduce pollution, learning how to adapt to the environment rather than forcing the environment to adapt to us is what the tiny things can teach us.
