Film Session(s)

2 minutes, USA, 2016

Beach communities around the world suffer from an abundance of plastic that tragically ends up in the oceans at an alarming rate – over 8 million metric tons per year. This film shows how individuals can turn the social norm around by creating a plastic waste management system that recycles over 12 metric tons of plastic per month. Join the founders of the Azulita Project, Mike and Lainie Giovale as they share information on how a small community is making a difference.
