Bears Ears: Preserving Our Cultural Heritage

Film Session(s)

10 minutes, USA, 2016

In Utah, a place between Canyonlands and the San Juan River called Bears Ears is gaining national attention: for its unmatched scenic beauty, for the rich cultural history it contains, and for an unprecedented movement that is gathering strength. The Bears Ears Intertribal Coalition is calling for a new National Monument here - not just to protect this place, but to heal it and ensure its proper care by elevating the tribal voice in management.
