An Alaskan Mile

An Alaskan Mile

Film Session(s)

21 minutes, USA, 2017

In 1954, Roger Bannister became the first human to ever run under four minutes in the mile. Sixty-three laters, the barrier has been broken by over 1,400 runners on tracks all over the world...except in The Last Frontier.

That was until Trevor Dunbar and his father Marcus Dunbar invited eight elite runners to race in two events and experience the wonders, the weather, and the small communities of Alaska.

Having to rely on the camaraderie of one another and the support of the crowd, the runners push through harsh conditions to do something unseen before on Alaskan soil.
