A panel discussion focusing on Pinyon Plain Mine (formerly Canyon Mine) with regional experts and local community people working on the issue. Moderated by Leona Morgan of HaulNo!

Haul No! is a volunteer Indigenous-led group collaborating with Indigenous communities and leaders, environmental organizations, and community-based advocates working to stop Energy Fuels’ Pinyon Plain uranium mine (also known as Canyon Mine).

ART OF THE PEOPLE GALLERY SHOW

Join artists Jerrel Singer, Nate Begay, Janet Yazzie, Billy Whitethorne, Randall Wilson and Stephanie Dann of the Art of the People collective in a collaborative gallery show in honor of Baje Whitethorne, Sr.

Art of the People, founded by Baje, fosters artistic excellence by activating, preserving and invigorating Native American culture through various forms of art and encouraging the next generation of Indigenous artists.

In celebration of Art of the People, artists will be LIVE Painting later at The Orpheum, during the Indigenous Voices session.

Join trail and ultra runner Rob Krar for a special Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival event this Sunday morning. Meet at Buffalo Park at 9 am for a casual run on some of Rob’s favorite local trails. Bring your friends and family for a fun, social run. All pace and experience level are welcome!
