We’ll get our 15th Anniversary going strong with stellar brews and free screenings of the best of our Summer and Fall Showcase Series, as well as the premiere of Rooftown Volume One, in which Friction Labs Pro and Flagstaff local Matt Gentile tackles the toughest problems our local limestone can throw at him.

FMFF Happy Hour at Dark Sky Brewery: “Fifteen By Flagstaff”
5:30–7pm
Join us as we host some of Flagstaff’s finest artists, and storytellers for the first Fifteen by Flagstaff Hosted by local filmmaker, Justin Clifton. Fifteen by Flagstaff is a fast paced slide presentation where presenters are challenged to share a story through exactly 15 slides with only 30 seconds per slide. Brevity is key as presenters are challenged to take the audience on a journey in only 7.5 minutes while providing a peek into their lives as we all enjoy a beverage and celebrate the diversity that makes Flagstaff a wonderful place to live.

FMFF Happy Hour at Dark Sky Brewery: “Songs, Stories and Sipping”

We are thrilled to host special guests legendary singer-songwriter Katie Lee with Peter McLaughlin of The Sonoran Dogs, as well as story-tellers Brad Dimock and Dave Edwards, as they regale us with song and stories of that nearby river that unites so many of us.
Friday Night Speakeasy After Party at The Pole House

The famed Fretwater Boatworks Shop will sweep up the sawdust to host a late night Speakeasy with music by special guest Peter McLaughlin and friends. Ask around or check our social media for directions to that magic door at the end of the road.

Coffee Talk at The Rendezvous “Redwall Chronicles” with Kevin Fedarko
10–11:30am
Acclaimed author and Flag local Kevin Fedarko will be giving us a behind the page’s account of his recent thru-hike of The Grand Canyon. Kevin along with photographer Pete McBride covered over 750 miles to raise awareness about the numerous threats facing the iconic park just up road. Kevin told part of the story in his outstanding National Geographic article. We look forward to hearing more!
Collaborative Art for Conservation at Firecreek Coffee Company

Join local filmmaker Justin Clifton and documentary photographer Amy Martin for an artist’s reception and informal discussion, coffee talk style around the concepts of mutual collaboration for a common goal, in this case, photography and film. We will gain insight into how they worked together on this Border Water issue.
Filmmakers Dinner at Cuvee 928 Wine Bar & Cafe

Yoga and Barre3 Fusion Class at Dark Sky Brewing Company

Join Laura Fallon and barre3 Flagstaff for an exclusive fusion class for VIP Pass holders. The 60-minute class is designed to energize and balance your body and mind before you head over to the Orpheum for another day of amazing films. Coffee Talk at The Rendezvous with Bruce Aiken and James Q Martin

Renowned artist Bruce Aiken and award-winning filmmaker James Q Martin have both united passion with conviction in their art. Join them for a glimpse into their latest projects and a discourse on where passion and conviction could lead us as we consider the need and potential for new efforts in safeguarding our public lands.
FMFF 15th Anniversary Wrap Party at The Orpheum

The FMFF House Band will set up in the lounge and we will celebrate another year of taking part in the most inspiring and thought-provoking cultural, environmental, and adventure-related outdoor films from around the world.
