COLLEEN COOLEY

Colleen Cooley is a Diné facilitator and consultant, originally from the communities of Shonto and Blue Gap, Arizona. She has over 12 years of experience working in intertribal, multiparty collaborative spaces to advance community-led solutions including climate adaptation, co-management research and planning, watershed stewardship, weaving western and Indigenous knowledges, youth engagement, food sovereignty and more. Currently, she serves as an External Advisory Council member with the Center for Braiding Indigenous Knowledges and Science, as Board member with Flowers & Bullets, a non-profit community collective based in Tucson, Arizona working to promote placed-based connections and foster sustainable living practices, and is a former Board member with the Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival.
